| Steps: |
| 1. Using a paper template and a marker, draw the desired shape onto the copper sheet. Use the shears to cut out the shape. |

2. Create a rough surface to hold the color that will be applied next by rubbing the entire surface of the copper sheet with a coarse sand paper. Use the Prismacolor® pencils to add color. |
| 3. Roll the sheet once through the New-Concept Microfold Brake to create a corrugated texture. |
| 4. Use the Swanstrom confirming pliers to further squeeze the corrugations on one end; this will exaggerate the fan shape. |
| 5. Using a Foredom® flex shaft with #67 high-speed drill bit, drill a hole at the top of the earring. Attach the sterling ear wire and close the loop to finish. |
